Did Angel Reese Enter The Wnba Draft

Angel Reese Joins the Chicago Sky

Former LSU Star Makes Her WNBA Debut

Reese, who was the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, officially signed with the Chicago Sky on Monday. The 21-year-old forward was a two-time All-American at LSU and led the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in both of her seasons in Baton Rouge.

Reese is one of the most highly touted prospects to enter the WNBA in recent years. She was named the SEC Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024 and was a finalist for the Naismith Trophy in both seasons. Reese is known for her versatility on the court, as she can play both inside and out. She is also a strong rebounder and defender.

The Chicago Sky are excited to add Reese to their roster. The Sky won the WNBA championship in 2021 and finished with a 26-10 record in 2023. Reese is expected to play a major role for the Sky this season.

"Angel Reese is a special player," said Chicago Sky head coach James Wade. "She is a versatile player who can impact the game in a number of ways. We are excited to add her to our team and we believe she can help us compete for another WNBA championship."

Reese is also excited to join the Chicago Sky. She said she is looking forward to playing in front of the Sky's passionate fans.

"I am so excited to be joining the Chicago Sky," said Reese. "I have always admired the Sky's organization and I am thrilled to be a part of it. I am looking forward to getting started and helping the Sky win another championship."
