Law enforcement officials have identified Maxwell Yearick, 30, as the suspect in the shooting at a former President Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday night.
Yearick, a resident of Perry South, is facing charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault. He was taken into custody shortly after the shooting, which occurred outside a venue where Trump was holding a rally.
Two videos posted on social media and verified by The New York Times appear to show Yearick firing shots from a building rooftop just outside the venue. Law enforcement sources at the scene confirmed that the shooter was positioned on the rooftop.
